At Parker, this means listening carefully to our community and studying our own practice in order to grow stronger as an institution. Building on the momentum of the transformative Expanding Opportunities: Building a Complete Community campaign, Parker continues to strengthen its capacity to serve more students and families across Chicago. Th e school draws insights and evaluates progress on key priorities through annual community surveys, focus groups, interviews, and longitudinal student portfolios. Together, these tools shape an annual school learning agenda and support honest refl ection on strengths, gaps, and opportunities for growth. Th rough this work, Parker strengthens its position as a world-class learning organization.

    • Build consistent, meaningful ways to hear from students, families, alumni, faculty and staff through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and other listening practices.
    • Pair quantitative data with lived experience to track progress on strategic priorities, inform decisions about programs and operations, and understand how people experience Parker.

  • Drive Decisions with Data

    • Use quantitative and qualitative data to guide decisions about staffing, divisional structures, and resource allocation.
    • Ensure that what we learn leads directly to how the school operates, adapts, and evolves over time.

  • Model Opportunities

    • Explore strategic options, test scenarios, and examine trade-offs related to resources, philanthropy, and long-term sustainability.
    • Use this analysis to support sound decision-making and align strategic priorities with financial realities.

  • Engage Key Stakeholders and Audiences

    • Establish a unified brand and voice. Start by launching a new website as our digital front door.
    • Share the authentic day-to-day impact of a Parker education across platforms to transform admissions and development into transparent invitations and to equip alumni, current families, and community partners to serve as enthusiastic ambassadors.

  • Invest in Our Future

    • Develop our campus and enrollment in ways that expand access and deepen opportunity for students across Chicago.
    • Generate additional financial support for Parker’s audacious vision for the next 125 years and beyond.
