The Physical Education Department hosted its annual Field Day on Wednesday.
Rainy weather pushed this year’s Field Day activities into the gyms, but 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade students still managed to find their smiles while getting their wiggles out.
Students rotated through a series of games and activities with their senior Big Siblings helping each step of the way. They worked their way through two gyms with activities ranging from jump ropes and hula hoops to hurdles, speed ladders and hoops. Some Big Siblings officiated bean bag races, while others helped in mini hockey games, parachute popcorn and bubble-wrap sprints. The event included obstacle courses of all sorts and even a pizza box-carrying competition.
