PA Appreciation Committee Kicks Off with School Supplies and Thank You’s for Parker Employees
The Parents’ Association Appreciation Committee kicked off its year in September by providing small notebooks, adorned with a note of thanks, and pens to employees to welcome them back as they embarked on a new school year. The PA thanks everyone who contributed to the Appreciation Committee events!
If you would like to be involved in the upcoming events and/or would like to donate tangible goods for any of these events, please email Jessica Bargnes (jessica.bargnes@gmail.com) and/or Sarah Dallessandro (sarahneubroch@gmail.com) to coordinate. This is a fun (and not time-intensive!) committee that supports a few appreciation events for employees each year. Please note: Any donated items must be store-bought, individually wrapped and nut-free.
A preview of what’s to come:
Friday, October 27: Let’s “fall” into fall and celebrate faculty, staff and administration with the fruit of knowledge! Apple cider and apple cider donuts are in season, and we will be providing them to all faculty, staff and administration.
Monday, November 20: Who needs an energy boost to make it through those final days before Thanksgiving (and Lower School conferences)? We will provide a snack table for faculty, staff and administration.
Tuesday, December 12: How sweet is the faculty, staff and administration at Parker? As sweet as the cookies that we will provide before December Recess!
Wednesday, February 14: We (heart) our faculty, staff and administration! We will provide lollipops with notes of gratitude written by our kids—stay tuned for how to help!
Tuesday, March 26: Parker faculty, staff and administration are planting the seeds of knowledge in our kids—let’s help them grow some actual plants to celebrate spring!
Class Day: Lunches provided by Chef Zac—a longstanding Parker tradition.
Please note: All contributions are voluntary and presented on behalf of the entire Parents’ Association, regardless of whether you contribute time, energy, funds or items.
We will continue to update you on Appreciation Committee events through “This Week @ Parker.” If you have questions about these projects or how to participate on the Appreciation Committee, please contact us!
