Student Film Wins Social Justice Award

Parker recently shared that Kai Contractor ’23 and Evan Sato’s ’23 film Remembering Tyler Lumar was chosen as an Official Selection for the 2023 All American High School Film Festival and would be screened at the AMC Theaters in Times Square.

Today Parker is proud to announce that not only did the screening take place to much acclaim, but their film also took home the Spark Award, given to the “best social justice film” at the festival! Faced with a crowded group of films, Contractor and Sato’s film took first place, awarding them a one-year subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud and a $60,000 scholarship to Huntington University.

Join Parker in congratulating these two alumni on the continued success of Remembering Tyler Lumar!
