InSideOut Initiative Speaks at Morning Ex
Students were treated to a thought-provoking Morning Ex thanks to the InSideOut Initiative, which allowed them to think more deeply about preconceived societal notions of gender.
The InSideOut Initiative helps to redefine gender norms and empowers young people, particularly student-athletes, to develop strong values and character. This national movement, empowered by the NFL Foundation, connects student-athletes to transformational coaches, in a culture of belonging, for their social-emotional and character development. Co-Founder Joe Ehrmann is a former pro football player whose TED Talk on toxic masculinity went viral in 2013. Co-Founder Jody Redman is a former college basketball star and coach who has been instrumental in changing the culture around coaching.
