Midway Miles #1 Meet Recap

The team did an outstanding job at the Midway Miles Meet on Friday!  The meet ran late into the evening, and we appreciate the energy our student athletes maintained throughout the competition.  Some highlights are below:

-The girls 4x800m relay (Bella Evan-Cook, Simran Jain, Ada Colins, Sofia Brown) took first place in a new season best of 10:50
-Tristan Tate and Pilar Grover ran times of 9.27 and 9.28 respectively in the 60m dash
-Jack Laser debuted for Parker track and ran times of 28.92 in the 200m and 65.1 in the 400m
-Julia Parsa and Owen Dudney set new season bests in the 1600m, with times of 6:52 and 6:29 respectively
-Bella Evan-Cook set a season best in the 800m (2:40), as did Sofia Brown in the 1600m (6:06)

We are excited about the progress the team continues to make, and look forward to competing at our second Midway Miles Meet next Friday (3/8), where we anticipate more fast times!
