The team did an excellent job going up against high level comptetition at the Gene Armer Invitational on Saturday. After a long car ride down in the morning, our student athletes were ready to go! Highlights are below:
-Bella Evan Cook ran under 6 minutes in the mile for the first time (5:59) and won her heat. -Simran Jain ran a new personal best of 2:40 in the open 800m. -Ada collins ran well in the 400m, equalling her personal best of 1:07. -Ryan Humphrey set new personal records in the 800m (2:05) and 400m (54.05), placing 7th and 10th overall respectively in a competitive field.
These student athletes represented Parker well and we are looking forward to future competitions as we move towards outdoor season. Please feel free to scroll through the photo album.
