Lake Forest Academy, April 12th

The team did an outstanding job at the Lake Forest Academy Meet on Friday! We are so proud of all of you and the highlights are below.  

Girls Races

Our girls had tremendous races and placed third overall out of ten schools.  

3200m: Audrey Shadle ran a personal best of 11:59, running under 12 minutes for the first time and placing first.
1600m: Sophia Brown ran a personal best of 5:49 for first place, Audrey Shadle ran 5:52 for second place, and Bella Evan-Cook ran 5:55 for 3rd place. Julia Parsa also earned a new personal best of 6:28.
800m: Parker girls swept the 800m races with Sofia Brown (2:32), Bella (2:36), Ada Collins (2:37), and Simran Jain (2:44) clinching spots one through four.  What a victory!
400m: Ada Collins placed 2nd in the 400m with a speedy 1:06. Tristan Tate ran 1:16, earning a new personal best and placing 6th.
200m: Tristan Tate and Pilar Grover ran strong 200m races, running 31.77 and 33.80, respectively.
100m: Ada Collins placed 6th in the 100m, running 14.83. Pilar Grover ran 15:15, Tristan Tate ran 15.28, and Gabriella Sennett ran 16.76 - a strong showing for our short-sprint ladies!
Shot Put: Gabriella Sennett placed first in shot put, throwing an impressive 26'10”! Gabriella also competed in discus, throwing 58'2".

Boys Races

The boys also had impressive races and placements, earning several personal bests!

3200m: Owen Dudney ran a personal best race with 13:16 and Aidan Young ran 13:36.
1600m: Christian Michaels secured fifth place and ran 5:46, while Owen Dudney ran a 6:22, both earning a new personal best! Nathan Siskel ran 6:04 and Aidan Young ran 6:45.  
800m: Christian Michaels ran the 800m in 2:30, earning a new personal best.  
100m: Tomas Cottagion ran the 100m in 12:33, placing fourth and earning a new personal best!
Shot Put: Josh Silet placed sixth place in shot put, throwing 30'. He also competed in discus, throwing 51’8”.
