Leadership, Student-Athletes and Utah Jazz

Upper School female student-athletes had an opportunity to learn more about leadership from Utah Jazz Chief Experience Officer Andrea Williams via a Zoom meeting orchestrated by Director of Athletics Bobby Starks.

Beyond the courts, field, turf and track, Starks is always looking for ways to enhance the school’s Athletics program offerings for student-athletes. In this event, Williams shared more about her work today and her career trajectory, and her time as a student-athlete in high school and in college, encouraging and empowering her all-female audience.

The Utah Jazz created the chief experience officer position in 2021 to focus on delivering world-class experiences to guests, partners and employees of the organization. More on Williams is available here.

Starks shared, “It was a spectacular seminar. Ms. Williams provided terrific insights on leadership courage, confidence, and character. I am thrilled to provide an opportunity for our student-athletes to learn about leadership firsthand from a trailblazer in the profession of athletics.”

Parker thanks all involved for making this event a success.
