Stars Shine in the Greek Play Morning Ex

Fourth grade students delighted the community with their creativity, energy and scholarship as part of this year’s Greek Play.

Every year, this annual production provides students with an opportunity to share all they have been studying about Greek mythology in their classes in an original theatrical performance.

Leading up to the show, students worked together, and with their teachers, to write scripts, create and draw scenery and make props they used on stage as well as block the show and rehearse.

This year’s Greek Play Morning Ex included four stories from each 4th grade homeroom—Heracles and the 12 Labors, the Story of Perseus and Orion and Big Bear/Little Bear. Each myth led to the creation of a constellation.
