Welcome!

We consider ourselves partners with you in this venture to assist our students with the college search, application and selection process. Please feel free to call or email any of us should you have questions about Parker, our students or their applications. Although they all go on successfully to four-year colleges throughout the country and world, our students work with us as counselors and advisors, not placement officers. Our focus is on helping them see, understand and reveal their own individuality and approach this process with self-awareness, honesty and authenticity.

The unique features of our curriculum, which contribute to our students’ success in college and in life, are available in our Upper School Profile, and our Upper School Curriculum Guide

List of 3 items.

  • Visiting Parker

We are fortunate that many of you (more than 100 each year) choose to put Parker on your visit list. With your hectic schedule and the cost of travel, we realize it’s not easy to make this kind of personal visit, and we want you to know that our office, our students, our parents/guardians and our administration greatly appreciate it. Our college visits begin after the first week of school each fall and continue through November. We try to accommodate everyone who wants to visit, but we give priority to the schools that enroll our students on a regular basis. Our seniors are excused from class to attend up to six meetings, and our juniors, up to three.
  • Planning Your Visit

To assist with planning, we have provided a few links that may prove useful:
    • To check visit availability and to request a time/date, please email collegecounseling@fwparker.org or Naviance’s Rep Visits fuction.
    • Find information on directions and parking. Please note that free neighborhood parking is often available during the day, within a block or two of our school building.
    • If you have updated information on your Parker representative, please contact us at collegecounseling@fwparker.org to provide it.
We wish you productive and safe travels and look forward to seeing you soon.

If we can be of further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.
  • On Being Green: Mailings, Catalogs and Applications

Our students all have access to laptops here; we use Naviance, and we are proud to have operated in the world of electronic applications, recommendations and transcripts, for those of you who accept them, since the fall of 2012. Our mid-year grade reports are available at the beginning of February and final reports in mid-June. In the Downloads box, please find links to additional information about our Upper School program and the schools our graduates attend.
