Helping Our Children of Color Thrive in Independent Schools with Carol Sutton Lewis

How can parents of children of color help them successfully navigate their independent school experience? What can we do to support their academic, social, and emotional growth in school and beyond? Parent advocate Carol Sutton Lewis is the founder of Ground Control Parenting and host of the Ground Control Parenting podcast. She draws upon her extensive experience with independent schools and parenting to offer tips and advice on how parents can help their children manage the opportunities and challenges that an educational experience in independent school can present. While this discussion will be of particular interest to parents and caregivers of children of color, all are welcome to join.
