Indoor Track Athletes See Success

Congrats to our indoor state championship qualifiers on running great races at their most recent meet!

Junior Ryan Humphrey ran two fast and furious races nearly back to back, having qualified in the 800m and 400m. Humphrey ran a personal record of 2:05 in the 800m, earning a medal for 8th place in an extremely competitive field. He followed this performance with a burning quick 400m, earning an indoor season personal record of 53:08!

The girls’ 4 x 800m relay placed top 10 and set a personal team record, taking their time down from 10:45 to 10:33. Freshman Sofia Brown ran her leg in a blistering 2:34, sophomore Ada Collins ran a strong 2:44, and seniors Bella Evan-Cook and Simran Jain earned personal records of 2:35 and 2:38, respectively.

Great work, Colonels!
