Call For Student Artwork!

By Visual Arts Department Co-Chair Kay Silva
Esmé, a fine-dining restaurant across the street from Parker, would like to partner with our student artists to raise money for Kitchen Possible, a nonprofit organization in Chicago that helps children from underserved Chicago neighborhoods make positive things happen in their lives through life lessons in weekly cooking classes.

All Parker students can participate by creating artwork to donate to Esmé for patrons to purchase, with all proceeds going to Kitchen Possible. Students should use one of the cooking-related themes from the chart below to inspire their artwork. Art that is not chosen for display at Esmé will be displayed at Parker.

Students may choose their art theme, imagery, technique, 2D media and size. There should be no words, brand logos or copyrighted characters. Students must write their names and grades on the back of their art. Students or their teacher should deliver their art to Ms. Silva, Rm. 121, or Ms. Palmer, Rm. 430, no later than May 31. Please contact Visual Arts Department Co-Chair Kay Silva at ksilva@fwparker.org with any questions. We can’t wait to see what you create!
