Student-Athletes Continue Presence on IHSA Student Advisory Committee

Parker is very happy to announce that the Illinois High School Association (IHSA) Sportsmanship Advisory Committee (SAC) has selected another Parker student from to join this important committee. Senior Sammi Coleman served a two-year term on the SAC, and, with her term ending in June, and after extensive review of the nominees, the IHSA has selected sophomore Ben Kagan.

The SAC is a diverse group of students who participate in interscholastic athletics/activities and focus on providing education and leadership through open and honest communication with all member school students, administrators and coaches. The committee also serves as a liaison between students, administrators, the IHSA staff and its board of directors. Finally, the SAC promotes the ideals of the IHSA, including leadership, sportsmanship and integrity.

Parker is proud of Coleman for her hard work and excited for Kagan as he begins his tenure!
