Junior Wins Prestigious Award and Joins 8th Grader in Participating in Fundraiser

Junior Hudson Lin received the US Squash Scholar Athlete Award, which recognizes high school students who excel both in the classroom and on the squash court. He recently competed in the US Junior National Championships and US Junior Open in Philadelphia against players from around the world, including Croatia, Pakistan, Peru and the U.S. Hudson is looking forward to playing at the collegiate level.

Both Hudson and younger sister Ava Lin, who is in 8th grade and also a squash player, will be playing in the MetroSquash Cup, a fundraiser that brings together Chicago’s squash, corporate and civic communities to raise important dollars for youth in under-resourced communities. MetroSquash is a nonprofit organization providing after-school academic and squash programming to more than 400 students in 5th grade through college each year.
