US Robotics Teams Advance to the State Championships

By Head Coach George Austin
I am thrilled to announce that on Saturday, both Parker FTC Robotics teams joined forces to win the Chicago League Tournament we hosted at Parker. On top of winning on the field, the rookie team won the Design Award and the veteran team won the Control Award for their coding for their robot. As extra icing on the cake, in the final rounds, the Parker teams formed an alliance to beat the alliance formed by Latin and Walter Payton schools. Both Parker teams earned the chance to move on to the State Championships on Friday, February 24 and Saturday, February 25 in Elgin. Please join me in congratulating the students and mentors:

Rookie Team, 9410, Frank’s Garage:
Daniel Chang, Spencer Koh, Erik Lazarre, Dhruv Moorthy, Nash Oliphant, Max Satterfield, Chase Wayland

Veteran Team, 3507, Robotheosis:
