“Little Shop” was Big Fun

Upper School thespians thrilled audiences with a toe-tapping rendition of Little Shop of Horrors as this year’s Spring Musical.

During the four-show run, more than 700 folks enjoyed the talents and energies of the 27 students in grades 9–12 who made this show a reality both onstage and behind the scenes. The actors and set designers began work in December, contributing more than 120 hours of their time to the production.

Along with their dedication to the show, students still managed to find time to take voice lessons, guitar lessons, piano lessons, flute lessons and test prep courses; work on the Performing Arts Committee; involve themselves in the Steppenwolf Youth Ensemble and performances outside of Parker; dance; golf; participate on teams for soccer team, swimming, field hockey, track, Scholastic Bowl, ROV underwater robotics and Model UN; contribute to Phaedrus and the Mural club; serve as a Multiracial Affinity head; be members of the Poetry and Slam Poetry Clubs; help organize relief for earthquake survivors in Turkiye; attend the Top Teens of America Conference; orchestrate FWPMUN; and publish the Parker Weekly.

Thanks to all of the teachers, parents and guardians who helped to support students throughout this entire process. Those efforts were evident, and the show was amazing.
