Celebrating Student-Athletes at Homecoming

Parents, guardians, students, employees, families and friends joined together to support Parker’s student-athletes for a beautiful day of community, fun and cheering at Homecoming.

The huge crowd helped add to the full day of excitement, which included adorable, high-energy support from the Lower School Cheer Squad during the JV Volleyball game and the raucous spirit of Middle School student-athletes hyping up the crowds prior to the Varsity Field Hockey, Soccer and Varsity Volleyball games. Junior Annoshae Mirza signed and sang the National Anthem at the three varsity games and sophomore Graysen Pendry sang with Mirza before the Volleyball match. Students-athletes on the Golf, Cross Country and Tennis teams were honored by the Athletics Department during halftime of the varsity soccer game as well.

In the athletics competitions, Upper School golfers celebrated “Senior Day,” for which every team member bested Head of Upper School Cory Zeller’s drive on the second hole. JV/V tennis, JV Blue soccer, varsity soccer, JV/V field hockey and JV/V volleyball all competed in hard-fought games; JV White soccer tied their game versus Latin; and varsity volleyball emerged victorious in their matches against Lindblom.

Those in attendance enjoyed delicious food all day from Chef Zac and his team at Quest Foods, complemented by a donut truck in the morning, ice cream novelties in the afternoon and treats and sweets from the Spinner Wheel for the younger crowd. Members of the Upper School Robotics team even shared an interactive demo.

Parker thanks all who helped make Homecoming 2023 such a resounding success!
