Guidelines for Vehicle Pickup

  • Please wear a mask.
  • Cars are not permitted to line up until 1:55 p.m. for JK–5th grade dismissal. If you line up earlier, you will be asked to move until the appropriate time.
    • Guardians only picking up 6th–8th grade students are not permitted to join until 2:30 p.m. If you line up earlier, you will be asked to move until the appropriate time.
  • Pull all the way up—No matter which exits your children are coming from, please pull all the way up. There will be adults who are ready to bring your children to you.
  • Parker Car Magnets—ALWAYS have your Parker car magnet on the passenger side door. If it does not stick to the car, please place inside the window so it is visible to the adults on the street. If you have multiple children please put all magnets on the side. If you lose or need an additional magnet please contact Nick Saracino at nsaracino@fwparker.org.
  • We can only load your child on the sidewalk—if your child’s car seat is not on the passenger side, the child will need to climb over to get in the car. If you are easily able to move the car seat to the other side, that would also work for us. For safety purposes, we will not walk around and unload your child in the street.
  • Pedestrian Traffic—Please wait on Clark street near the corner of Webster. Please hold up the car magnets with your child’s name or make your own sign to hold up with your child’s full name, grade and classroom teacher. There will be adults who are ready to bring your children to you.
  • Late to pick up—Contact your child's divisional office at the following number:
    • Lower School Office—773.797.5116
    • Intermediate and Middle School Office—773.797.5351
  • The school will provide all families with magnetic signage to be displayed on their passenger side door during pickup.
  • Never leave your vehicle unattended in on Webster Avenue for any amount of time, for any reason.
  • During pickup, follow the traffic directions of the uniformed officers and school personnel.
  • Never block alleys or driveways.

Guidelines for Pedestrian Pickup

  • The pedestrian line begins at the corner of Clark and Webster.
  • If you are participating in pickup on foot, you must wear a mask and keep at least six feet physical distance between yourself and others.
  • Please hold up the car magnets with your child’s name or make your own sign to hold up with your child’s full name, grade and classroom teacher. There will be adults who are ready to bring your children to you.
  • After your child is picked up, please continue moving to avoid crowding in these locations.
  • Never Cross in the Middle—under no circumstances can we have ANY OF THE ADULTS (teachers included) cross the street in the middle to load or unload the students. They can only cross the street at the protected crosswalks on the corner.
  • Alert a staff member with a walkie-talkie when you arrive so they may assist in retrieving your student.
  • During pickup, follow the traffic directions of the officers and school personnel.
